Seven of the twenty best female tennis players in the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) have confirmed their participation in the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open 2025 tournament. This indicates the growing significance of this tournament on the global stage. Among the players who have confirmed their participation is defending champion Elena Rybakina from Kazakhstan, currently ranked sixth in the world, and Daria Kasatkina, ranked ninth, aiming for redemption after last year's loss in the final. Also participating are Olympic champion from Switzerland Belinda Bencic, the 2023 winner, and Ons Jabeur from Tunisia after her extended absence due to shoulder injury.
